Apple AirPods reportedly helped recover a stolen Ferrari worth $575,000 (approx. Rs 4.8 crore) in Connecticut, US. According to a report by a local publication -Eyewitness News (via 9to5Mac), the owner of the car parked his brand-new 2023 Ferrari and left a pair of their AirPod headphones inside it. Thanks to the AirPods, the Waterbury’s Auto Theft Task Force was able to track the headphones and the car which was later found at a gas station on South Main Street.
Police said that they identified the driver as Dion Schontten, age 22, from Waterbury with the help of the phone. He was arrested with the stolen 2023 Acura.
How to track lost AirPods with Find My

- Next, locate your AirPods on the map.
– If they aren’t near you, tap Get Directions to open their location in Maps.
– If you‘re near them, tap Play Sound and listen for a series of beeps.
– Depending on your AirPods and iPhone, you may also see an option to use Find Nearby. Tap it, wait for your AirPods to connect to your iPhone, then follow the prompts to find your AirPods.
